There are lots of photos of the painted hills in central Oregon, but to get this photo, you must be there at just the right time for the Spring flowers to bloom. This image was taken with a 500mm lens, allowing for a vast swath of flowers to be compressed in front of the cinder cone hill in the center of the photo.
